Introducing New Advocate Artist - Rumer
Rumer has joined The FAC Advocate Artists.
Advocate Artists fulfill a new role for contemporary and influential artists within the FAC; advocating policy initiatives amongst the artist community, influencing policy makers in government to hear artists’ views directly and, encouraging emerging artists to pursue valuable careers by leading the FAC’s education and outreach programmes.
Rumer is a Multi Platinum, Brit Nominated British singer and songwriter. Her debut album, Seasons of My Soul, (Atlantic) has sold over a million copies worldwide. Her sultry voice has earned her praise from Elton John and Burt Bacharach. Rumer finally signed to Atlantic Records at the age of 30 after a ten year struggle to get a record deal. Rumer’s success has taken her all over the world, and she has even performed for President Obama at the White House. Rumer is a passionate and vocal mental health advocate and has been open about her own struggles with mental health. As an FAC advocate, she is now here to answer your questions! Write to Rumer with any questions or concerns that you have about your own journey in music!
